Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Data Insight Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse, and quality minded individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT. You will be a part of a Quality Committed Team supporting the Supplier Quality Organization. Our team works with cutting edge equipment, exotic materials and novel products to innovate within our mission, working across the site facilities supporting, manufacturing, and testing of large, small composite structures. Responsibilities:

Experience with data collecting process and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets, statistical reporting, data analysis methodologies to identify trends in data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. Requires statistical and data skills. responsible for collection, storage, and interpretation of data for businesses. Duties include sifting through data points to create organized categories, comparing data points to current company processes and writing reports to meet business needs.

Create Power BI report(s), data collection, data analysis, and tracking data trends. 

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and provide data analysis.

Report relevant data metrics for business needs, collecting and understanding data, sourcing missing data during the collection process.

Responsible for data integrity, metrics, data analytics, and SharePoint oversite.

Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
Work is performed with oversite and direction from SR Principal Analyst. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results.
 

Basic Qualifications:

Data Analyst

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Data Science and 3+ years of Quality Control experience; or 1 year of experience with Master's Degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical writing skills, Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI.
  • Familiarity with data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Functional knowledge of production control systems (ePIC, Solumina, Costpoint, TipQA, Mfg/etc.
  • Experience or certification: Microsoft Power BI reporting, and data analytics.
  • Experience or certification: Microsoft SharePoint design or administration.
  • SAP- S4
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

Salary Range: $68,500.00 - $102,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
