We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data across various company systems and databases. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems
  • Review data for errors, duplicates, or inconsistencies, and correct or flag as needed
  • Compile, sort, and verify data accuracy before and after entry
  • Retrieve data from various sources (paper documents, digital files, emails, forms) and input it into designated systems
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information
  • Organize and maintain digital filing systems in accordance with company procedures
  • Generate reports and summaries from entered data as requested
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to clarify or verify information
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly data entry quotas and deadlines
  • Perform regular quality checks, audits, and data backups
  • Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of data entry, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 45–60+ WPM)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with database software, CRM systems, or data management platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific software (e.g., QuickBooks, Salesforce, SAP, or industry-specific systems)
  • Prior remote work experience
  • Basic knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality best practices
