The Role
Join our team as a Senior Data Solution Engineer and transform complex data into meaningful, business-ready insights. You will design and deliver robust data solutions, working across modern cloud platforms and analytics tools to bridge business needs with strong data engineering practices.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and deliver scalable data marts in Snowflake and develop production-grade dbt models
- Design and implement semantic layers and reporting solutions using Power BI
- Optimize performance and cost across data models, queries, and reporting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned to business needs
- Support CI/CD processes and implement best practices for testing, deployment, and governance
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in data or analytics engineering, delivering data marts and semantic models in enterprise environments
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and SQL
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Experience working in agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams
- Fluent English and German communication skills
Bonus Points For
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 architecture
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Python
- Experience migrating on-premise data platforms to cloud environments
- Exposure to financial services or similar regulated industries
- Experience implementing data security and governance frameworks
