Description

This role will support the analytics and data needs for Verily’s first-party solutions to support research and care programs. This role will work broadly in the data stack in Verily’s Precision Health Platform: collaborating across and between Engineering and Data teams, deeply understanding data sources, owning data modeling, and supporting the needs of Product and Analytics.
 

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the analytical data models and pipelines.

  • Contribute to cross-functional team efforts, driving engineering solutions that deliver significant value to partners.

  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables while ensuring adherence to agile principles to design iteratively and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts, contribute to technical designs, and support intuitive, performant and high-quality data models.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 2+ years experience with data engineering or analytics engineering, including SQL and ETL.

  • 1+ years experience with the dbt (data build tool) library.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting software in the health care field.

  • Exposure to object-oriented programming in a language such as Python or Go.

  • Familiarity with collaboration and prioritization across a broad organization.

  • Experience in SQL optimization and data best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000 - $131,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
