We’re looking for a Data Engineer to develop and expand our systems that handle billions of content interactions daily to detect intent signals from companies worldwide. You will work alongside our software engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers to support Bombora's R&D mission to design, develop, and maintain our world-class B2B DaaS products, leveraging machine intelligence and web content consumption data at scale.

You will...

  • Build, maintain, and optimize production ETL pipelines and systems 
  • Work collaboratively with others and as part of a team 
  • Design and implement large, highly scalable systems in Google Cloud Platform, including Dataflow, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
  • Develop Airflow/Composer pipelines in Python.
  • Have fun in an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and experimentation.

You have experience with....

  • Languages: Python and SQL
  • Implementing solutions running in Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers
  • Working with databases: Familiar with SQL and relational databases, ideally in Google BigQuery
  • Optimizing queries and writing DAGs to process data
  • Being impactful and effective: Continuously improve the code base.
  • Ramping up quickly when picking up new technologies, code bases, and systems
  • Enjoying working collaboratively, and supporting the team as needed

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of commercial development experience 
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud and/or big-data platforms (GCP preferred) 
  • Education: B.S. / M.S. in computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or equivalent experience

Note: this position is hybrid; candidates must be able to work in the Reno, Nevada office 2-3 days/week.

Compensation Package

  • The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
