We are looking for experienced System Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are looking for a Data Center Engineer with a minimum of 11+ years' experience. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in data center operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Data Center Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data center layouts, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems, to ensure efficient use of space and resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and facilities to ensure data center designs meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data center designs and configurations, including CAD drawings, technical specifications, and operations procedures
Duties to Include but not limited to:
  • Ensure the reliable operations of data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical and cooling systems, to maintain uptime and minimize downtime
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs on data center equipment, including generators, UPS systems, cooling systems and electrical switch gear
  • Manage relationships with data center vendors, including contract negotiations, performance management, and dispute resolution
  • Monitor and analyze data center capacity, including power, cooling, and space to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste
  • Ensure data center operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with date center operations team to share knowledge and best practices, including training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of data center electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems
  • Experience with data center design and implementation tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Familiarity with data center management software (e.g. DCIM, BMS)
  • Data center certifications (e.g. CDCP, CDFOM) are highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
