We are seeking a Data Analyst who has strong Business Analytical skills to support one of our Technology companies. This resource acts as the functional and data bridge required to successfully integrate the ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) module and lay the data groundwork for the AI Ticketing Agent. The role is highly operational and data-intensive. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data analytics and business analytics
What You'll Do
- Data Collection and Cleansing: Collect and extract data from diverse sources such as Excel, SharePoint Lists, and shadow IT systems to support the SAM module and AI training pools.
- Source Data Validation: Apply quality assurance by validating datasets with ServiceNow import/export and analysis tools for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before platform ingestion.
- Shadow IT Data Capture: Identify, document, and collect data from shadow IT to ensure a full inventory for Application Portfolio Management and SAM.
- Application Cataloging: Define necessary metadata and attribute data to support initial application cataloging within the SAM module.
- Requirements Gathering: Lead targeted sessions with IT, Finance, and Asset Management stakeholders to establish business logic, compliance rules, and reporting needs for ServiceNow SAM.
- AI Ticketing Data Specification: Specify requirements for structure, volume, and quality of historical ticket data to train and validate the AI Ticketing Agent model.
- Data Flow and Mapping: Develop source-to-target mapping and transformation logic for data integration, ensuring new ServiceNow modules align with master data definitions.
- Platform Stabilization: Support the initial build-out and stabilization of new data platforms and transition processes to the internal team upon completion.
- Knowledge Transfer: Document and transfer all processes, data mappings, and quality checks to the long-term operational team.
What We're Looking for
- Power Bi and advanced Excel skills and experience with SharePoint Lists.
- ServiceNow import/export and data profiling proficiency.
- SQL skills and experience with some experience in QA and validation methodologies.
- Strong business process documentation and requirements writing capabilities.
- Experience with technical inventories, including application cataloging and metadata definition.
- Ability to gather requirements and lead sessions with a variety of business stakeholders.
- Understanding of data integration, source-to-target mapping, and transformation logic.
- Track record of hands-on data operations in fast-changing or temporary environments.
- Excellent communication skills for documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Experience working within global or matrixed enterprise environments
