We’re looking for a curious and detail-oriented Oracle Data & Reporting Engineer to join our Technical Support team. In this role, you’ll help ensure the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of the data that powers our products and client reporting.

You’ll work closely with our Database Engineers and Software Development teams to manage and enhance database structures, troubleshoot data issues, and build insightful reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills who wants to deepen their expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, business intelligence tools, and cloud data environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, document, and resolve customer data-related issues.
  • Write and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Metabase, and others.
  • Partner with software engineering teams to identify and fix data-related defects.
  • Support Tier 2 cases within expected service levels.
  • Contribute to improving internal data processes and automation.
  • Create knowledge base articles and internal documentation to help teammates and customers better understand data systems.
  • Follow and help enhance troubleshooting best practices and runbooks.

Education & Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience writing SQL queries or working with relational databases (Oracle experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and documentation abilities
  • Interest in data management, reporting, and automation

Preferred

  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, functions, triggers)
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Metabase, Crystal Reports, or Power BI
  • Exposure to cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Experience or coursework related to financial data systems
