Job Description

The Data Analytics Associate Manager is responsible for shaping forecasting strategies through advanced data analytics and predictive modeling. This role leads critical data initiatives that drive business performance, supports Workforce Management data requirements, and develops innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This position includes managing a team of analytics professionals and providing strategic guidance to influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use claims data, technology, business knowledge and statistics to strategically guide and build automation for capacity forecasting functionality, operational improvements and to streamline quality controls.

  • Manage end-user expectations and resolve identified issues timely while acting as the Capacity & Demand Forecast technical expert.

  • Builds predictive models to support all of Workforce Management.

  • Collaborate with Forecast Team lead to identify new forecasting methodology design/enhancements and distribution practices.

  • Support post-implementation validation (e.g., accuracy, timeliness, etc.) by validating balancing controls, and reviewing content & structure.

  • Support cross-team collaboration as well as administrative business needs across the team.

  • Inspire trust and confidence in business partners through strategic and diplomatic handling of relationships.

  • Provides data, analytics and technical expertise to support and collaborate across business units.

  •  Manages and leads data and analytics of critical importance• Influences forecasting strategy through analytics, artificial intelligence and automation.

  • Compiles, cleans, organizes and analyzes complex data to understand business results.

  • Establishes, modifies, documents and communicates standards of practice around data retrieval, data manipulation, data quality, data reporting and data analytics in the forecasting space.

  • Communicates and presents complex project information to team/stakeholders and provides presentations/updates to senior leadership.

  • Monitors and evaluates business initiatives against key performance indicators and communicates results and recommendations to management.

  • Provides technical expertise.

Preferred Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of python, SQL, Predictive Modeling methodology, Fabric (preferred), data engineering  and business knowledge (e.g., financial skills\flow of the numbers).

  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau/PBI syntax and building medium to complex formulas.

  • Understanding of information that requires combinations of data from different sources, along with the ability to perform predictive analysis.

  • Highly skilled in problem solving, organizational and time management - manages through ambiguity, prioritizes multiple projects to meet business partner needs.

  • Intermediate knowledge of data management principles (i.e.; data flow within systems, data mapping, metadata document interpretation, etc.).

  • Experience in process design and implementation including internal quality controls.

  • Effective time management skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job will have direct reports.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
