About the role

Ruby Labs is hiring a Junior–Middle Data Analyst to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing team. In this role, you will create new reports, improve existing ones, and ensure data accuracy to support informed decision-making. You'll work across a variety of products and clients, helping to build their future data environments and playing a critical role in leveraging data for strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Product Owners and Data Teams to support data needs.

  • Control and monitor marketing and product metrics using Mixpanel and Tableau.

  • Create new reports and collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to maintain high-quality event tracking by aligning on event naming and mapping standards for new features and A/B tests.

  • Set up and manage tracking systems (pixels, postbacks, events) across platforms (Meta, Google, MMPs, etc.); maintain and troubleshoot server-to-server integrations.

  • Ensure accurate attribution across paid channels and platforms.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business insights.

  • Use SQL to retrieve and analyze data for reports and team requests.

  • Collaborate closely with the Data Team to ensure consistency in reporting and data quality across the organization.

  • Support campaign measurement and performance analysis.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across analytics tools and databases.

Qualifications
  • Degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Economics.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions aligned with organizational goals.

  • Experience in Product Analytics.

  • Experience with Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, or similar tools.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL.

  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.

  • Familiarity with server-side tracking, MMPs, CDPs, and tag managers.

Nice to Have
  • Strong spoken and written English.

  • Experience in Marketing Analytics.

  • Experience with Python or R.

  • Experience with GCP and BigQuery.

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.

  • Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow.

  • Familiarity with git and the code review process.

  • Understanding of affiliate and performance marketing.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
