Partner One is looking for an accomplished cybersecurity executive to lead one of its global cybersecurity businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, product innovation, customer success, and long-term value creation across a cybersecurity organization serving enterprise, government, defense, and critical infrastructure customers worldwide.

This role requires a leader with deep expertise in Security Operations, Network Detection and Response (NDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Threat Detection and Response, Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, and Security Analytics. The ideal candidate understands the unique requirements of organizations operating highly secure, regulated, and mission-critical environments and has experience supporting customers with on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and air-gapped deployments.

The successful executive will possess a strong combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, technical credibility, and commercial leadership, with a proven track record of scaling cybersecurity businesses and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the company’s strategic vision and growth plan.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Evaluate evolving cybersecurity threats, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy.
  • Position the company as a leader in security operations, threat detection, network security, and cyber defense solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen the company’s position within enterprise, government, defense, and critical infrastructure markets.

Product & Technology Leadership

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions that address evolving threat landscapes.
  • Ensure continued leadership across solutions supporting:
    • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
    • Network Detection and Response (NDR)
    • Extended Detection and Response (XDR)
    • Threat Hunting
    • Threat Intelligence
    • Digital Forensics and Incident Response
    • Security Analytics
    • Security Operations Centers (SOC)
  • Support customers operating in cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
  • Drive modernization initiatives while maintaining strong support for mission-critical customer deployments.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of advanced persistent threats, nation-state actors, ransomware, insider threats, and emerging attack techniques.
  • Lead organizations delivering software and appliance-based cybersecurity solutions and understand the operational requirements associated with hardware lifecycle management and supply chain considerations.

Commercial Leadership

  • Lead global sales, customer success, channels, alliances, and professional services organizations.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with CISOs, CIOs, security operations leaders, government agencies, defense organizations, and strategic partners.
  • Expand recurring revenue streams while maximizing customer retention and expansion opportunities.
  • Support strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and major commercial opportunities.
  • Drive growth across enterprise, public sector, federal, defense, and critical infrastructure customers.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead global teams across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability across the organization.
  • Optimize organizational structure and operational efficiency to support business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, execution, customer focus, and accountability.
  • Ensure operational rigor in product delivery, customer support, and service excellence.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted executive partner to customers, employees, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer events, analyst briefings, and executive forums.
  • Support strategic partnerships, acquisitions, integrations, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Provide leadership during major cybersecurity incidents, market disruptions, and industry developments.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within cybersecurity, enterprise software, and hardware technology organizations.
  • Prior experience as a senior executive with significant P&L responsibility and ownership of business performance.
  • Proven success leading cybersecurity organizations serving enterprise and government customers.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Security Operations (SOC)
    • SIEM Platforms
    • Network Detection and Response (NDR)
    • Threat Detection and Response
    • Threat Intelligence
    • Incident Response
    • Digital Forensics
    • Security Analytics
    • XDR Platforms
  • Significant experience supporting and commercializing on-premises cybersecurity platforms, including highly regulated, sovereign, classified, and air-gapped environments.
  • Experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions to large enterprises, government agencies, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure operators.
  • Understanding of businesses that combine software, hardware, and appliance-based cybersecurity solutions, including the operational considerations associated with hardware product delivery, supply chain management, and lifecycle support.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale revenue, improve profitability, and lead organizational transformation.
  • Experience managing global organizations and distributed teams.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with customers, analysts, investors, and employees.
