Position Summary
Accomplished solution-oriented professional with demonstrated success working in teams selling Cyber Security Services to enterprise, mid-market and emerging accounts across all key verticals, including, financial, high-tech, healthcare, retail, consumer products, energy, telecommunications, etc. The Cyber SecurityDirector function is able to communicate effectively with C level executive teams to understand their initiatives and build effective Coalfire security programs that address their strategy. The primary focus for this role is to position Coalfire's Cyber Security consulting and managed services, offerings, and capabilities to all assigned opportunities. These offerings includePenetration Testing (AI, Network, Application, Mobile, Hardware, Social Eng, Physical), Red Teaming, Exposure Management, Threat Hunting, Dark Web Monitoring, IR Playbook Reviews, Cyber Maturity & Risk Assessments, TPRM, CISO Advisory, etc.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate expert knowledge to the customer regardingall ofCoalfire’s offerings.
- Develop an expert knowledge of all Coalfire systems and processes throughout the sales lifecycle and work with sales teams to drive all opportunities to closure.
- Develop and document all technical aspects of the proposal and statement of work for each opportunity.
- Deliver the vulnerability management message and vision including technicapresentations to prospective customers and partners.
- Conduct remote calls and face-to-face meetings to discuss prospective business and technical fit with Hexeon and Coalfire services.
- Drive pre-sales technical activities from opportunity identification through closing, including discovery calls, needs assessments, and solution scoping.
- Assist the sales team with identifying appropriate Coalfire services to address the customer requirements; Lead the scoping of key opportunities by engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and articulating the Coalfire services that address customer needs.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and accelerate sales pipeline progression.
- Work in concert with technical delivery leadership to ensure all aspects of the statement of work are appropriately captured and are clear to the customer.
- Attend customer meetings alongside Account Executives to assist with progressing opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
- Build working relationships cross-functionally with project management team, delivery team, and sales team to ensure coordination of efforts and good communication between all parties
- Establish processes for tracking and understand clients evolving needs across a portfolio of engagements.
- Identify areas of improvement in the scoping process and work with leadership to improve and/or implement new processes.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with direct cyber security consulting services in a B2B sales environment with experience in technical sales, consulting, or similar roles.
- 5+ years of experience working alongside sales teams in security consulting and managed services highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience selling security offerings that include: penetration testing, red teaming, threat hunting, vulnerability management, managed services, and governance, risk, and compliance.
- Knowledge of security market trends, industry participants, new technologies & business models
- Demonstrated superior ability to be the technical lead while interacting with C-Level executives, including CISO, CIO, CEO, CFO, COO, CTO.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills
- Critical thinking skills to determine the best solution out of multiple "correct" options
- Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
