In this role, you will:
- Act as a primary cybersecurity advisor to executive-level clients, providing strategic guidance on risk management, security posture improvement, and cyber resilience.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of client cybersecurity programs, identifying gaps, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for strategic enhancement.
- Develop and present tailored cybersecurity roadmaps, strategic plans, and solution architectures that align with client business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead executive-level discussions, translating complex technical cybersecurity concepts into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, technical solutions, and delivery teams to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client needs and service delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, industry trends, regulatory changes, and advanced security technologies to provide cutting-edge advice to clients.
- Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key client stakeholders, fostering trust and identifying opportunities for expanded advisory and service engagements.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, white papers, and client-facing presentations on critical cybersecurity topics.
- Guide and mentor junior advisory team members, sharing expertise and best practices in client engagement and strategic cybersecurity consulting.
- 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a dedicated client advisory, consulting, or senior leadership role focused on strategic cybersecurity guidance, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Proven track record of successfully advising and influencing executive-level clients on complex cybersecurity matters and strategic initiatives.
- Expert-level knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains, including but not limited to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), enterprise security architecture, cloud security, incident response, and threat management.
- Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse business audiences.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect cybersecurity strategies directly to organizational business outcomes and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex client engagements, often involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Industry-leading certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, or other relevant cybersecurity and risk management certifications.
- Extensive experience working with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry, understanding its unique cybersecurity landscape and regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cyber risks.
