Location: While this role is open to remote candidates across the United States, team members located within 40 miles of our Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256) are expected to work onsite four days per week to support collaboration, speed, and execution. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.

As a CX Specialist supporting Mid-Market customers, you'll help organizations transform the way they connect with their customers. This is a consultative sales role focused on uncovering business challenges, guiding digital transformation, and delivering measurable business outcomes through Nextiva's AI-powered Unified Customer Experience Management (Unified-CXM) platform. You'll partner with business leaders to simplify complex technology, modernize customer engagement, and create experiences that drive growth, loyalty, and operational efficiency. What You'll Do:

  • Own the full sales cycle for an assigned portfolio of Mid-Market accounts, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology decision-makers by understanding their strategic priorities and customer experience goals.
  • Position Nextiva's Unified-CXM platform as a business solution that improves customer engagement, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations that uncover customer challenges and align solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans that generate qualified pipeline and drive predictable revenue growth.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to each customer's business needs.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Channel Partners, and cross-functional teams to create winning customer experiences.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.
  • Leverage AI-enabled sales tools, customer insights, and automation to improve prospecting, prioritize opportunities, personalize outreach, and increase sales effectiveness.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging AI technologies, competitive solutions, and evolving customer experience strategies to serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining a customer-first approach that supports long-term growth and retention.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B technology sales experience, preferably selling into Mid-Market or Enterprise organizations.
  • 3+ years selling one or more of the following: CCaaS, UCaaS, SaaS, CRM, CX, AI, or cloud technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through close.
  • Experience engaging executive-level decision-makers and building credibility with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline, manage opportunities, forecast accurately, and consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform to manage customer relationships and sales activity.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to customer outcomes and ROI.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a willingness to responsibly adopt AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, customer engagement, and business results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling customer experience (CX), contact center, communications, or AI-powered software platforms.
  • Experience working with channel partners or partner-driven sales motions.
  • Familiarity with solution-based or value-based sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message.
  • Experience selling into highly regulated or complex industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or retail.

Our compensation packages are tailored to each role and candidate's qualifications. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, training, and certifications, when determining compensation. We aim to offer competitive salaries or wages that reflect the value you bring to our team. Depending on the position, compensation may include base salary and/or hourly wages, incentives, or bonuses. 

The expected hiring range is $90,000 - $135,000, including annualized base salary and annualized target sales incentive. Some sales roles are paid hourly with overtime eligibility. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate, 

resulting in a different hiring range.
