We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to serve as a key connector between customer success and technical onboarding. In this dynamic and hybrid role, you’ll manage real-time customer support inquiries while also supporting the initial configuration and activation of customer data in GrowthLoop. You will also have the opportunity to flex into data services projects or even be deployed to high-touch enterprise accounts as a dedicated resource, to help ensure they are getting the most out of GrowthLoop.
This is a highly collaborative, technical, and customer-facing role — ideal for someone who is energized by solving problems, loves building strong relationships, and wants to influence both customer outcomes and internal product feedback loops.
What You’ll Do- Own day-to-day customer support interactions across Slack, chat, and email, addressing technical and product-related issues with urgency and empathy.
- Perform custom data services during onboarding, implementation, and expansion to ensure our customers get to full data readiness.
- Investigate issues related to platform behavior, sync failures, data quality, and campaign setup, providing clear explanations and proactive solutions.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, assist with dbt models, and contribute to successful data transformations during implementation.
- Escalate and follow up on product bugs, working closely with Engineering and Solutions to ensure timely resolution and clear communication to customers.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, playbooks, and technical templates to streamline support and onboarding processes.
- Track and share patterns from customer interactions to improve product usability, documentation, and onboarding workflows.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or implementation role at a SaaS company, ideally involving data or martech products.
- Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple conversations and priorities with speed, empathy, and accuracy.
- High degree of ownership — you’re not just reactive, but look for ways to improve the customer experience and internal processes.
- Passion for helping customers succeed and a curiosity for how systems work under the hood.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving toward clarity in both technical and interpersonal settings.
The estimated base salary is $125,000-$150,000 USD. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors unique to each candidate, such as the individual’s skill set, depth of experience, and qualifications.
