Hi! We’re The Wanderlust Group an outdoor technology company composed of Dockwa.com and Marinas.com. We build marketplaces that connect boaters with marinas, and technology that helps those marinas thrive. We believe that the best way we can make the world better is to get people out in it.

At The Wanderlust Group, you’ll be an integral part of a growing team, able to make an immediate impact and work alongside some of the most talented and dynamic people anywhere. We believe that a great culture enables great teams to do incredible things.

We are searching for an Implementation Support Specialist to join our Implementation Team and work to share the Dockwa product experience with marinas all across the country. The Implementation Specialist performs a critical role that ensures our marina customers get setup on our software and using our tools in a timely, accurate and professional manner. They are instrumental in taking a marina’s information and migrating it to best fit into the Dockwa system to ensure critical data such as rates, inventory and customer data are accurately reflected. Their work will ensure an ideal customer experience and foundational step towards helping them achieve their goals. In addition to working with marinas and their staff to build their profile, Implementation Specialists also configure key modular features critical to the marina achieving their goals. This includes building dock maps, setting up and preparing for contract sends, POS installation, and otherwise helping the marina develop their operation in the digital world using our modular tools.

As an Implementation Support Specialist @ The Wanderlust Group, you will:

  • Build marina profiles
  • Manage marina map creation
  • Review and help configure customer data for upload into our systems
  • Work closely with customers to setup and send digital contracts
  • Manage POS hardware implementations
  • Configure and maintain automated emails

What's Important to An Implementation Specialist

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to fit square pegs in round holes - translating roughly structured information into our systems
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize when bandwidth is constrained
  • Curious about all aspects of the marinas we work with and how they run their business
  • Knowledgeable about systems used to manage information/data essential to running our marketplace
  • Knowledgeable of business operations systems, and how information is captured and shared across our organization
  • Tenacity. Shepherding old school customers into the digital age takes patience and dogged determination

How an Implementation Specialist is evaluated:

  • Thoroughness (does not cut corners)
  • Thoroughness (information is accurately transcribed/migrated into our systems)
  • Throughput (ability to get customers up and running in a timely manner)
  • Throughput (ability to handle implementation of multiple customers in parallel)

We’re all about adventure here @ The Wanderlust Group, but we also want you to know what to expect on your journey with us, starting with the application phase through the interview process:

  • Interview Process Step 1: 30-minute Zoom or Phone / Exploratory call with a member of our Talent Team
  • Interview Process Step 2: 30-minute Zoom Meeting / Hiring Manager discussion with our Director of Marina Success, Tripp Messinger
  • Interview Process Step 3: 30-minute Zoom Meetings / Project review with Tripp Messinger and our Head of Implementation, Tyler Kneisel.
