Job Description:

   

The Customer Project/Program Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing complex, high-value customer engagements across multiple business units and global regions. This role ensures successful delivery by overseeing scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and risk, while fostering strong client relationships and driving business value through edge-to-cloud solutions.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their digital transformation journey, leveraging data-driven strategies and innovative IT solutions. Your role spans across project planning, financial oversight, team leadership, risk management, and opportunity development—delivering excellence in both execution and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, complex, and/or global customer projects with high risk and business impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including executive (C-level) stakeholders, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure transparent communication.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, financials (including P&L), and quality assurance.
  • Manage multi-functional and multinational project teams, including internal and third-party resources (team size often >40).
  • Select and utilize appropriate project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial forecasting and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Identify, develop, and lead up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within project engagements.
  • Proactively manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Serve as an opportunity manager for large, complex, and high-risk deals.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to project team members; contribute to team capability development.
  • Represent the organization externally with professionalism, acting as a brand ambassador for the company’s services and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field; advanced degrees a plus.
  • 10+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of delivering large, complex IT or digital transformation projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong financial acumen and business development capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Experienced in managing cross-cultural, virtual teams and navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Skilled in critical thinking, problem solving, and issue resolution.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and the ability to influence others.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.

USD Annual Salary: $115,500.00 - $266,000.00
