We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Operations Representative to join our Nedap Inc. team in Burlington, MA.
This role involves the administration of an automated order flow, inventory management, internal and external vendor sourcing, and dispatch of orders to customers across North America. As the key liaison between our internal teams (sales, finance...), vendors, and customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and exceptional customer satisfaction while contributing to innovative solutions in a global business environment.
What you'll do:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by resolving inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing accurate, timely product information.
- Manage end-to-end order processes, including order entry, pricing and availability checks, invoicing, credit requests, and basic warranty coordination across domestic and international markets.
- Support inventory accuracy by coordinating forecasting, replenishment, and reconciliation activities with supply chain partners, warehouses, and external vendors to ensure product availability.
- Maintain customer account records by updating documentation, processing basic tax-related information, and ensuring accuracy for internal controls and audit readiness
- Coordinate operational workflows by collaborating with internal teams on project scheduling, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives that support smooth customer and partner operations.
- Assist with logistics and vendor coordination, including warehouse communication and support for sales and marketing teams when needed.
- Leverage product and industry knowledge to understand customer needs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in diverse projects, including process enhancements, system updates, and operational support initiatives, based on business needs.
- Foster a proactive, collaborative working style, demonstrating adaptability, accountability, and strong relationship-building skills in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.
What we're looking for:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems and exercise independent critical thinking.
- Proficiency in ERP software and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A self-starter with a "go-figure-it-out" mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll bring:
Experience: Three to five years of customer service, supply chain & logistics or inventory management
Other Requirements:
- This is a hybrid role based out of our Burlington, MA office with at least 2-3 days per week in office for collaboration, training, or team events.
- The candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States, hold a valid US driver’s license and be able to travel domestically or internationally (to our HQ in the Netherland) 10% of the time.
- Prolonged Desk Work: Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, requiring good posture and ergonomic practices. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing 15-20 pounds.

Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $65 000 to $85 000
