Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: $105,000 to $120,000 base plus bonus and equity

What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

Huntress is seeking a highly motivated and customer-obsessed Customer Advocacy Manager to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our existing customers, driving their success, increasing their loyalty, and transforming them into advocates. You will play a key role in demonstrating the value of our products/services, increasing customer lifetime value, and contributing to our overall business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and nurture customer advocates for references, case studies, testimonials, reviews, and speaking engagements.
  • Create compelling customer success stories, including case studies and video testimonials, showcasing the value and impact of our solutions.
  • Build a digital asset management system for sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to uncover advocacy opportunities and align on customer outreach strategies.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of customer stories to amplify across marketing channels and train field teams to position customer success first.
  • Strengthen Huntress’s position in platforms like G2, Peerspot, and Gartner Peer Insights
  • Manage and lead customer events, including customer advisory boards and user groups, that build engagement with both executive and practitioner audiences
  • Represent the voice of the customer in internal discussions and strategic planning.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer marketing, demand generation, content marketing, or a similar role. Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful customer marketing programs that drive engagement, retention, and advocacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives and customer-centric messaging.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and customer advocacy platforms.
  • Excellent project management, resource management, and planning skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail, demanding excellence in every deliverable, with a mentality of constantly raising the bar
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A true passion for customers and a desire to help them succeed.

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
  • Life and Disability insurance plans
  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
  • $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

Huntress is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
