As a Executive Director in CEM, you will manage risk, liquidity, and exposure, support all aspects of the trading desk, and design optimal risk management strategies for large trades. You'll evaluate market developments to provide clients with accurate product information and ensure all relevant parties are informed of key developments.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.

Job Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day client requests and needs.
- Understand market drivers, market moves, and cross-asset implications.
- Independently resolve P&L reconciliation issues.
- Ensure all relevant parties are informed of key developments.
- Cultivate an appreciation of the balance between revenue generation and building a client franchise.
- Establish competence with clients around executing trades.
- Understand the firm's approach to risk management and follow applicable policies.
- Assist with post-trade processes and ensure internal controls are followed.
- Proactively share information, knowledge, and ideas to help others succeed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Extensive experience working within an investment bank, demonstrating leadership and success.
- Advanced ability to discuss trade booking and implications on P&L in detail.
- Proficiency in calculating and reconciling P&L and resolving issues independently.
- Comprehensive understanding of fundamental and technical aspects of traded products.
- Proficiency with market and product terminology and quantitative frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of direct costs of transactions and strategic risk management strategies.
- Thorough understanding of market drivers and ability to anticipate movements.
- Execution-oriented with a strong understanding of the transaction cycle.
- Ability to thrive under competitive pressures and remain client-focused.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to defend ideas.
- Comfortable interacting with business clients and senior management.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
