Join the Culinary R&D team in Nijmegen in exploring and discovering new unforgettable taste for our Taste Elevation category (sauces) and Meals category. You will be working with a team of R&D chefs, exploring new tastes, techniques or technologies that should deliver the KHC innovations of the future.
The candidate will have the great opportunity to work in an industrial environment with very strong culinary expertise. They will be able to see the direct impact of a chef's expertise and creativity to unlock strong business value. The candidate will be working in collaboration with a team of chefs from different backgrounds and nationalities.
In addition, the intern will be participating in the day to day of the Kitchen life and will be supporting the chefs on their daily projects. It will give the intern the opportunity to see a large spectrum of Chefs work in the food industry

Basic Requirements for all:
- You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement except CTI but other languages are a plus)
- You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
- NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)

USP (Unique Selling Points) / RTB (Reasons To Believe) Framework
Assignments and key activities:
- Intern will focus on building and testing a framework for Unique Selling Points (USP) and Reasons to Believe (RTB) for our core Away-From-Home portfolio
- The overall outcome should be about delivering insights and inspiration for the existing portfolio
- The project will also look into documenting and presenting these insights to key marketing and sales stakeholders
- Additionally, they will have the chance to work alongside KHC Innovation Team creating new products and host food ideas
Specific Team Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master student in Culinary with classes on food design or food innovation
- Besides food design, recipe design, culinary skills, digital communication skills are a requirement
- Previous experience with communications, social media coordination is a bonus
- Experience in a restaurant and the food industry is a plus
- You can communicate fluently in English, are creative and can work independently and in a team.
Technology platform exploration - Taste Elevation
Assignments and key activities:
- During the internship you will focus on specific technique/technology(ies) to understand the impact of the technology on our products, its added value, and challenges as well as its versatility.
- The overall outcome should be about delivering insights on the performance of the technology as well as the value proposition it can deliver to our consumer going forward.
- The project will also look at the implementation of the technology through prototypes and host foods with the purpose to market these initiatives internally.
- Additionally, you will have the chance to work alongside KHC Innovation Team creating new products and sharing ideas
Specific Team Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master student in Culinary or Chef with classes on food design or food innovation
- Interested in fast-moving consumer goods industry
- Culinary skills are prerequisite
- Experience in a restaurant and the food industry is a plus
- You can communicate fluently in English, are creative and can work independently and in a team.
- You want to share your ideas and are eager for feedback
