Lead cross-functional program management for a portfolio of 5+ modular housing projects from contract through field delivery. Maintain a single source of truth across Design, Permitting, Engineering, Factory Production, Field Operations, Software, and Procurement. Track schedules in Jira/BigGantt, identify and escalate critical-path risks, manage long-lead procurement and factory capacity, enforce stage-gate handoffs, and surface clear program health and risk reports to leadership.

ABOUT US

Reframe Systems is a Physical AI and robotics company on a mission to make high-performance housing attainable and abundant in the communities where people want to live. Through our vertically integrated delivery model and highly automated microfactories, we deliver climate-resilient homes and buildings with greater speed and predictability than traditional construction.
Our volumetric modular buildings are produced in our Andover, MA microfactory, with a growing pipeline across North America and a new microfactory on the way. We are building a system that balances repeatability with site-responsive design, enabling homes adaptable to each site, community, and customer need. Our cross-disciplinary team brings together architecture, robotics, design engineering, software, factory operations, and field delivery to change how housing gets delivered.
We’re reimagining the future of housing through a smarter and more sustainable system that empowers people to live better. Come build it with us.

THE ROLE

This is a cross-functional program management role. You are Reframe's risk management and decision-forcing layer across all active construction projects.

You maintain the single source of truth on where every project stands across Design, Permitting, Engineering, Factory Production, Field Operations, Software, and Procurement. Your job is to make sure the right people have the right information at the right time — and that risks surface weeks before they become expensive surprises.

This role reports to the Head of Systems Design and Engineering. You will own a portfolio of 5+ concurrent projects from contract through field delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL DOCross-functional Coordination
  • Interface with team leads across Design, Engineering, Factory Production, Field Operations, Software, and Procurement to understand requirements, constraints, and dependencies

  • Translate those inputs into a unified, end-to-end plan with clear owners, dates, and handoff criteria

  • Drive execution: track progress, surface blockers, hold teams accountable to commitments

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership on program health — translate complexity into clear, actionable status and risk summaries

  • Maintain the cross-project schedule in Jira/BigGantt, integrating timelines across all functions

  • Track factory capacity allocation against project demand; flag conflicts before they hit the critical path

Risk Identification and Escalation
  • Flag critical path risks weeks before they materialize — not after

  • Track long-lead procurement items against schedule

  • Identify cross-functional dependencies that no single vertical sees

  • Manage project priority stack across all verticals and flag when priorities need to shift

  • Triage issues raised across functions; route to the correct lead; ensure nothing is unowned

  • When a project slows down, identify whether the root cause is a one-time issue or a systemic gap — and fix the system, not just the symptom

Stage Gate and Handoff Governance
  • Own the design stage gate process: define required artifacts at each gate and who must sign off

  • Facilitate PRD (Product Requirements Document) development with cross-functional stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of cross-functional program management in a hardware, manufacturing, or operations-intensive environment

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and escalate schedule risks proactively — not reactively

  • Comfort holding functional leads accountable without direct authority

  • Strong written communication: clear, concise, action-oriented

  • Experience with Jira, BigGantt, or equivalent project tracking tooling

  • Comfort with AI-assisted workflows

  • Familiarity with modular/prefab construction, advanced manufacturing, or AEC

Reframe Systems is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you believe you have the skills to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you don't meet 100% of the listed requirements. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
