Mudflap serves the $800B trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. Our market-leading payment products help truckers save thousands of dollars on fuel (their #1 business expense), while providing our fuel stop partners with access to new, hard-to-reach customers. We’re a fast-growing marketplace business looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this exciting journey.
Mudflap is in a critical phase of growth, and we’re building a high-impact Revenue Operations team to help scale our business for the long term. We're looking for a HubSpot Systems Developer to take strategic ownership of our HubSpot ecosystem and evolve it into a core engine of business growth.
In this role, you'll design, implement, and continuously optimize scalable HubSpot systems that empower our go-to-market teams. This is a foundational role that blends hands-on technical execution with an operational point of view. You’ll help shape how systems and data fuel decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and you'll collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and build smart infrastructure that drives measurable outcomes.
Experience with product ownership, CSPO, or Technical Program Management (TPM) principles is a strong plus. Familiarity with HubSpot CMS as part of a larger growth strategy, especially supporting web infrastructure, landing pages, and lead conversion, will set you up for success.
If you're excited to build, own, and evolve the systems behind a fast-growing team, we’d love to meet you.
Expectations (In this role, you will):
- Design and implement scalable HubSpot CRM architecture, ensuring best practices for data flow, system integration, and module management
- Act as a strategic partner across Revenue Operations, Sales, and Marketing to proactively identify and implement system improvements that align with business goals
- Support the development and optimization of HubSpot CMS templates, landing pages, and content modules as part of a tightly integrated growth engine that drives acquisition and conversion
- Optimize HubSpot workflows, pipelines, and automation to streamline go-to-market processes across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
- Develop and maintain custom integrations between HubSpot and other platforms (e.g., Braze, Zapier, internal tools), ensuring seamless data exchange and scalable system performance
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and implement improvements for speed, reliability, and usability
- Stay current with HubSpot’s evolving feature set, platform updates, and best practices to continuously improve system functionality and ROI
- Own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, managing stakeholders across Strategic Finance, Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and Growth Marketing
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend architecture, workflows, and integrations
Experience (What we look for):
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in HubSpot CRM development, including architecture design, automation, and system optimization
- Strong understanding of HubSpot CMS structure, modules, and content strategy in a growth-focused environment
- Proficiency in HubL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Experience working with HubSpot APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Ability to build dashboards and reports in HubSpot that surface insights and support data-driven decision making
- Experience collaborating with go-to-market teams and enabling them on platform best practices and tools
- Knowledge of CRM architecture and data hygiene best practices
- Self-starter with a bias toward action; able to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Bonus: Experience as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or in a Technical Program Manager (TPM) role, with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Perks and Benefits (What we offer):
- Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth startup
- Multiple health benefit options
- Responsible Time Off
- 401(k) matching
- Opportunities and support for major career growth
- Annual Company offsite event (Mudfest!)
