We are seeking a Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Intervention team. In this role, you will provide telephone triage, screening, counseling, and face-to-face crisis evaluations for adults, children, and families. Responsibilities include gathering psychosocial histories, developing crisis intervention plans, providing crisis stabilization counseling, and coordinating appropriate dispositions. You'll consult with other therapists, agencies, and families, and provide short-term individual or family therapy as needed. 

Clinical staff receive at least weekly supervision from independently licensed, qualified mental health professionals. 

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Conduct crisis evaluations using established assessment tools, including clinical assessment, formulation, collateral contacts, therapeutic interventions, risk assessment, diagnosis, documentation, supervisor consultation, and disposition planning. 
  • Conduct evaluations both on-site and in community settings, including traveling to community locations as needed. 
  • Use clinical judgment to gather information, assess client needs, determine the appropriate level of service, and respond effectively to risk and safety concerns. 
  • Provide short-term crisis follow-up, stabilization interventions, supportive counseling, resources, and referrals as clinically indicated. 
  • Provide triage, pre-screening, telephone support, referrals, education, and consultation to clients, families, community agencies, and other professionals by phone, walk-in, or in person. 

 

Schedule: 

Full time | 40 hours/week 

Hours: Monday 6am – 4pm; Tuesday – Thursday 10am – 8pm 

 

What You'll Bring: 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other similar field required.  
  • Degree must be from an accredited university and meet the requirements for independent licensure. 
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Crisis Intervention or similar setting, or related field placement in Crisis Intervention setting. 
  • Demonstrated experience and training in assessing adults, children, and families. 
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses.  Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

$31.32$45.67 USD
