Who We Are
Playbook is the global marketplace for fitness, wellness, and athletic creators. We serve thousands of creators—from personal trainers and yoga instructors to runners and college athletes—including some of the biggest names in the industry like Nick Bare and Mackenzie Wells. We're a fast-moving, remote-first team backed by $17M from investors who built companies like CAA, Uber, Product Hunt, and Giphy.
The Role
We're hiring a Creator Manager to own a book of business on Playbook.
As a Creator Manager, you're the single point of contact for a portfolio of creators, from the cold outreach that opens the relationship, to the close, to the launches and retention work that compound revenue over years. You'll prospect and close new high-value creators, then manage them long-term as their growth partner on the platform. The compounding nature of the role is the point: the creators you sign become your portfolio, and your comp scales with how that portfolio performs over time.
This is not a hunt-and-hand-off motion. There's no SDR feeding you leads, and there's no AM taking the relationship after close. You own the full thing. You should be equally comfortable crafting cold emails, navigating CRMs, running launch strategy with a creator doing seven figures, and showing up on the next renewal call two years from now.
We're a creator-first company. A huge chunk of our team is made of creators. The strongest people in this seat have been creators themselves, or have spent serious time inside the creator world. If that's you, the experience is the asset.
What You'll Do
Own the full creator lifecycle on your portfolio: prospecting, pitching, closing, launching, retaining, expanding
Build and manage outreach campaigns to high-value fitness and wellness creators
Conduct discovery calls, demos, and strategic partnership conversations
Hunt for and qualify target creators across databases and networks
Manage active relationships with the creators in your book, partnering on launches, retention, and growth
Refine the Creator Manager playbook as you learn what works in the field
What We're Looking For
Closer instincts. You can run outbound, build lists, navigate CRMs, and close meaningful deals.
Relationship-builder instincts. You also love the long game of helping creators grow over years, not just hitting quota and moving on.
Hands-on execution mindset—you're scrappy, move fast, and aren't above doing the grunt work
Strong understanding of fitness and wellness industry (networks, influencers, business models)
Comfortable being a swiss army knife—building lists one day, closing a major creator the next
Comfort with both the hunt and the tending.
Nice to Have
Personal network in the fitness/wellness creator space
Experience selling B2B SaaS, marketplace products, or high ticket coaching
Background at creator economy or subscription platforms
Benefits
We believe in paying above market rate for top talent
