About Us

TravelPerk is a global travel and expense management platform. Its all-in-one platform gives travelers the freedom they want whilst providing companies with the control they need. The result saves time, money, and hassle for everyone.

TravelPerk has industry-leading travel inventory alongside powerful management features, 24/7 customer support, state-of-the-art technology, and consumer-grade design.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Barcelona, we’ve grown to over 1,800 people across Europe and North America. In 2022 we became a ‘unicorn’ and in 2025 we raised $200 million in a Series E funding round, increasing our valuation of $2.7 billion.

We’ve been winning awards too. Since 2023, we’ve been voted one of the best places to work, one of the fastest-growing apps and tech companies, and a leading pioneer of business travel.

These are just some of the reasons why global brands like Wise, Red Bull, GetYourGuide, and Aesop trust us to get the most out of their travel.

We’re looking for a proactive, creatively-driven UX/UI Designer with a strong sense for user experience storytelling and bringing our brand to life digitally – someone who can craft engaging marketing website experiences and is excited to grow their skills in design systems.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for elevating our UX and UI – applying best practices and data-driven insights to ensure every design decision enhances usability and clarity. You'll balance creative exploration with system thinking; ensuring each design feels thoughtful, brand-aligned, easy to implement and aligned to business objectives.

You’ll take ownership of our marketing website as part of the marketing brand design team, playing a key role in how our brand shows up online. While your focus will be on marketing, you’ll regularly collaborate with product designers to ensure visual and experiential consistency between our marketing site and product – keeping the customer journey cohesive from first impression to in-product experience. You’ll work hand-in-hand with developers to bring your designs to life with precision and polish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion high-quality visual and interaction design that balances creativity with consistency – delivering delightful user experiences that respect and push the system
  • Bring creative ideas to the table for new pages, components, and layouts – driven by UX insights and conversion goals
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI components, adhering to our brand guidelines for brand consistency
  • Maintain and optimize our existing design system, keeping it visually consistent and meeting accessibility needs
  • Document clear guidelines and specs so anyone – designer or developer – can jump in easily
  • Build a partnership with the developer to ensure design translates perfectly into code

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/visual design, with a solid grasp of design tokens, component libraries and system thinking
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or visual design, ideally working on marketing websites or customer-facing web experiences. Interest in design systems is a plus – but not required.
  • A knack for balancing brand and creativity with practical UI/UX needs
  • A systematic mindset, understanding that each component and micro-interaction contributes to a seamless, cohesive user experience
  • UX experience wireframing, prototyping and translating user needs, insights and business goals into clear user journeys
  • Experience with marketing websites and conversion improvement, with an appetite for seeking opportunities to use insights/data for design improvements and AB testing
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • A track record of collaborating with engineers on UI implementation
  • Familiarity with web performance and accessibility standards

How we work
Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.

At TravelPerk, we prioritize experience and potential over academic qualifications for this role. We believe that talent and ability aren't always reflected in formal credentials.

TravelPerk is a global company with a diverse customer base—and we want to ensure that the people behind our product reflect that. We're an equal opportunity employer, meaning you're welcome at TravelPerk regardless of your appearance, where you're from, or anything else that makes you.

All official communication from TravelPerk comes from @travelperk.com email addresses, our verified social media channels, or recruiters listed on our official LinkedIn page. We will never ask candidates to pay for equipment or make any kind of payment during the hiring process. If you receive an unexpected message claiming to be from TravelPerk and asking you to take action, please forward it to [email protected] and we’ll confirm whether it’s legitimate.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
