The Role

We are seeking a Creative Script Adapter to transform romance and drama web novels into binge-worthy screenplays for mobile-first, vertical video storytelling. This is part of our Paid Creator Program and is a project-based contract role, with compensation provided per completed and approved script package. Writers with experience in adaptation, romance storytelling, or interactive formats will thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do
  • Adapt web novel plots into high-quality screenplays for vertical streaming formats.
  • Analyze and enhance story structure, pacing, and character development.
  • Write original scenes and collaborate on revisions.
  • Optimize story elements using audience engagement data.
  • Provide feedback to peers and participate in script workshops.

  • 5+ years of professional screenwriting or adaptation experience
  • Strong romance/drama storytelling skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Comfort with young adult romance/drama themes, including sensitive content
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Payment Terms:

Payments are issued upon final acceptance of deliverables that meet all agreed project requirements and quality standards.
