The Creative Ops Lead will build Figma toolkits, improve creative workflows, and support the onboarding of new accounts. This role requires strong design skills and system thinking to enhance efficiency.
Superside is looking for a hands-on Creative Lead with deep Figma expertise to take our creative systems, toolkits and templates to the next level.
This role is part of our Delivery & Operations team and focuses on setting up new accounts for success, accelerating delivery timelines and lifting quality without compromise. You will own the creation of scalable creative toolkits in Figma (and ideally Canva and Adobe suite), and be the go-to person for systemizing design processes that unlock creativity and efficiency for our 300+ global creatives.
If you’re someone who knows Figma better than most, thrives on solving problems through automation and design systems, and has a passion for empowering others through tools, templates, and training - this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
- Build high-quality Figma toolkits and scalable templates for new and existing customers, ensuring speed, consistency and quality.
- Lead creative system onboarding for new customer accounts (e.g., Meta, Shopify), helping their design needs become Superside-ready.
- Identify and solve inefficiencies in creative workflows using plug-ins, automation tools, or manual process optimization.
- Convert Figma systems into Canva and Adobe templates where needed, ensuring format fidelity and usability across platforms.
- Audit and improve existing design systems and asset libraries (e.g., Digital Ads, Social, Email) for wider adoption and better UX.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Creative Directors, and cross-functional teams to translate pain points into creative system solutions.
- Support the roll-out and training of new toolkits and templates across global creative teams.
- Stay ahead of the curve on automation tools, Figma plug-ins, AI integrations, and system trends that can uplift creative operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Advanced mastery of Figma - component structures, variants, tokens, auto layout, libraries, and plug-ins.
- Strong working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proven track record of improving creative team efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Experience implementing or using plug-ins, scripts or automation tools to reduce manual work and increase speed.
- Strong system-thinking and ability to translate complex workflows into clear, scalable creative solutions.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems, toolkits or creative onboarding packs for marketing or internal teams.
- Comfort presenting and explaining toolkits to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- Passion for operational excellence and making creative teams faster, better, and more consistent.
- Familiarity with Creative automation tools like Storyteq, Bannerflow, Celtra and/or AI tools like ChatGPT, MidJourney.
- Experience in stakeholder collaboration or solutioning across sales, marketing, or customer onboarding teams.
