Point C is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Containment Specialist to support our Care Management team by identifying, tracking, and reporting client cost savings across a variety of clinical and operational programs. This role plays a key part in demonstrating the financial impact of our care management efforts, including utilization management, bill review, pharmacy strategies, single case agreements, and transplant contracts. You will collaborate closely with both the Care Management and Operations teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and deliver meaningful insights to our clients. Your work will help quantify our impact and drive continuous improvement in the services we provide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Track and document cost savings generated through care management programs using the Acuity platform
  • Analyze savings across multiple areas, including case management, utilization management, bill review, pharmacy, single case agreements, and transplant contracts
  • Collaborate with the Care Management team to understand clinical outcomes and align financial reporting accordingly
  • Partner with the Operations team to request reports and analyze claim data to validate amounts covered and savings achieved
  • Maintain and manage internal KPIs related to cost containment and care management effectiveness
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting packages to clients, highlighting ROI and key performance metrics
  • Support special projects and ad hoc analysis related to cost containment opportunities
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all data and reporting deliverables

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, cost containment, or a related role
  • Experience working with care management, utilization review, or claims data
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and/or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with Acuity or similar care management platforms (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with both clinical and operational teams
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present findings to both internal and external stakeholders

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
