The Business Development Manager is the key communication channel and the most senior representative for Retail Partners on sales topics in his given European Markets for Corvette Brands.
The main areas of responsibility are:
- All aspects of Sales & Profit Optimization for Corvette Brand in a given market
- All aspects of Relationship Management for Corvette Brand in a given market
- All aspects of Supporting the Business Model for Corvette Brand in a given market
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Optimization, (50%)
- Ensure delivery of Sales Volume and contribution margin
- Implement provided strategies /operational procedures to deliver wholesale sales volume and contribution margin across all channels
- Maximize wholesales & retail sales volume and market share in given country / area
- Maximize Retailers Sales Effectiveness in their individual Area of Responsibility
- Monitor the lead generation process and continuously improve dealer`s conversion rate
- Leading the control of dealer`s stock level, stock aging and financial hold to optimize the Sales volume
- Execute flawless new product launches in his AOR, in line with Corvette Europe strategy
- Key communication channel for Retail Partners on sales topics in his AOR
- Collect and provide in real time information regarding competitors activities (i.e. campaigns, launches, change in market approach) industry trends, new commers, to GM Europe HQ to enable swift reactions to the market's need
2. Relationship Management, (40%)
- Responsible for maintenance and development of business relationship with retail partners in a given country / area, with additional focus on distribution processes and dealer marketing & PR
- Active role during the implementation of Retail Network Strategies and decisions
- Responsible for protection of Corvette 's financial interests in dealings with retail partners
- Liaison for all the function in the HQ related to the specific market that he/she is responsible for
3. Support Business Model, (10%)
- Support and Leverage GM Europe functions for Retail Partners regarding Corvette activities including Sales Operations / Marketing / Network Development/PR
Knowledge (theoretical know-how) :
- Good understanding of European sport luxury market (special Germany, Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden)
- Strong operational background, multifunctional experience in field and HQ level
- Strong product- and commercial knowledge of Automotive Sales, Marketing & Network functions and processes; local automotive industry Market
Skills (refers to practical application of knowledge) :
- Leading & Coaching of Retail Partners; Cross Functional working, Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Business resilience and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to manage diversity
- Goal oriented person and team player
Languages:
- Fluent in English & German languages both written and spoken, any other European language is an advantage (i.e. French, Dutch, Swedish, Spanish, Itlalian)
Additional Description
Experience/Education:
- BA or University degree in Economy or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an international Sales and Marketing operation in a field position
Competencies:
- Strong result-oriented selling approach and entrepreneurial drive, Building relationships (Retail Partners).
- Customer focused mentality. Open for Change & Innovation. Managing through systems.
