The Corporate Strategy Manager, Bose Labs, is the strategy lead embedded within Bose-X. Bose-X defines and advances an enterprise-wide research agenda by identifying and prioritizing technology investments that can translate into high-potential future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Bose-X Strategy Development
- Define and prioritize strategic initiatives across research domains, emerging technologies, markets, and ecosystems
- Lead strategy projects end-to-end with speed, rigor, and clear structure
- Translate technical concepts into testable commercial value hypotheses
- Evaluate strategic options and guide decision-making based on customer value, market reality, and Bose advantage
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment through workshops and working sessions
- Develop executive-ready materials that distill complex inputs into clear recommendations
- Partner with Corporate Development on inorganic opportunities
- Build business cases, including market sizing, financial models, scenarios, and risk assessment
Drive Portfolio Discipline and Investment Decisions
- Serve as the link between Bose-X and enterprise portfolio strategy
- Represent enterprise strategy in portfolio prioritization and investment discussions
- Define success metrics, learning milestones, KPIs, and investment gates for early-stage initiatives
- Support portfolio reviews with clear, data-driven recommendations (advance, pivot, partner, pause, or stop)
Build Market, Technology, and Competitive Insight
- Conduct primary and secondary research across markets, customers, competitors, and ecosystems
- Act as a go-to SME on emerging trends in edge AI, physical AI, and adjacent spaces
- Partner with insights teams to shape research priorities aligned to Bose-X needs
Build Cross-Functional Influence
- Develop strong relationships across research, product, commercial, and corporate teams
- Incorporate diverse perspectives to strengthen recommendations and drive alignment
- Partner with Corporate Development, Partnerships, and FP&A on investment decisions
Advance Strategy for Early-Stage Innovation
- Bring structure and rigor to ambiguous, front-end innovation work without slowing learning
- Establish repeatable approaches to translate research and external signals into strategic options and business opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, venture strategy, or technology innovation environments
- Proven experience in innovation, new ventures, research commercialization, or early-stage business building
- Ability to lead ambiguous problems from framing through recommendation with minimal oversight
- Strong analytical skills (market sizing, business cases, financial modeling, scenario analysis)
- Customer-focused and commercially grounded; able to distinguish compelling technology from real value creation
- Technically fluent and comfortable working across scientific and business audiences
- Excellent executive communication skills
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills without formal authority
- Hands-on mindset; willing to lead, challenge, and build
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
