You will...
- Lead the negotiation and execution of complex, small and large-scale contracts through initial review, analysis of proposals and interpretation of all terms & conditions while mitigating all legal risks.
- Partner with the internal stakeholders at Waabi on Supplier and Third Party contracts including but not limited to: NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, DPAs.
- Provide insight on industry and market standards for all clauses in commercial contracts.
- Draft contracts from scratch as needed to support various Waabi development efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Global Supply Chain on contract databases and contract processes for Waabi.
- Own identifying and implementing process improvements & documentation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) & member of a state bar.
- In-house counsel experience.
- 6+ years of experience with commercial contracts.
- Experience in negotiating SaaS & Hardware development contracts.
- Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to provide and recommended solution to internal stakeholders and leadership at Waabi.
- Extremely Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly Google Suite).
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $170,000 - $210,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
