Job Summary: 

The Corporate Compliance Consultant on the Corporate Governance & Compliance team is a key team member and supporter of the company’s Business Conduct Program (our Ethics and Code of Conduct program). Assists with and helps coordinate ethics and code of conduct support to the enterprise, assisting the Director in the holistic program management. Responsible for driving activities related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the organization's policies and procedures covering the code of conduct, including related training, investigations, and mitigation. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of key components of the Business Conduct Program (our Ethics and Code of Conduct program). 
  • Review and evaluate reports of suspected misconduct and determine course of action. Sources of reports include human resources, fraud team, business conduct liaisons, direct email or calls, and the anonymous hotline. Maintain and manage the EthicsPoint case management system to support routine reporting and root cause analysis. 
  • Conduct workplace investigations including interviews, reviewing documentation and drafting and sharing written reports. Partner with human resources and the business on recommendations as appropriate.  
  • Partner with and assist the Corporate Fraud Center of Excellence as needed on high-level fraud investigations and risk mitigation actions. 
  • Develop, maintain and provide training on company’s Guide to Business Conduct and related ethics-based policies and procedures. Coordinate updates to the Guide, related policies, training, and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, relevance and thoroughness.  
  • Independently champion a culture of compliance and ethical decision making by developing relationships with stakeholders. Spread awareness of reporting resources and promote a speak up culture.  
  • Support and enhance processes and policies to identify and manage conflicts of interest and to support corporate policies governance. 
  • Support Compliance team members and key stakeholders in the development and implementation of metrics for measuring and tracking compliance, investigations, risk assessments, complaints, and mitigation efforts.  
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, and monitor developments connected to code of conduct, ethics, and related topics. Keep abreast of pending regulatory developments. 
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required to deliver a best-in-class business conduct program. 

Skills and Background You’ll Need:

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience, in a compliance role, with working knowledge of applicable business conduct program or ethics requirements. 
  • Prior experience with internal investigations with law enforcement or other government or military arenas may substitute for the years of experience requirement. 
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence others and build relationships with all levels of the business. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree. (required)
  • Juris Doctorate or other relevant post-graduate degree or experience (preferred).

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$85,750.00 - $125,750.00
