Why Neocol?

Neocol partners with the world's most innovative subscription businesses to solve complex, high-impact challenges and unlock scalable growth. As a leading Salesforce Summit Partner, we bring deep expertise in Agentforce Revenue Management and the broader Salesforce ecosystem to help customers transform how they sell, service, and scale.

What sets Neocol apart is not just our technical depth, but how we work. We've built proven playbooks, accelerators, and delivery models that empower teams to move quickly, confidently, and with purpose — always with a focus on meaningful outcomes.

At Neocol, you'll join a team that values expertise, curiosity, and ownership — and gives you the opportunity to make a measurable impact in the subscription economy.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a Functional Solution Architect to join our Salesforce Core Practice. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating business needs into Salesforce-powered solutions without writing code. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients—leading with empathy, strong communication, and deep platform knowledge across Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

This is not a developer role. Instead, we're looking for someone who understands the art of the possible with Salesforce's out-of-the-box capabilities, knows how to build stakeholder trust, and can guide clients toward scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the functional lead on Salesforce implementations, owning discovery and requirements gathering, solution design and platform configuration strategy
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using clicks, not code
  • Lead client discovery sessions and workshops to uncover business needs and identify gaps
  • Serve as the Experience Cloud expert, designing and configuring partner and customer-facing portals
  • Guide solutioning efforts across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Partner with Business Analysts, Technical Architects and QA teams to ensure solution scalability within the confines of  testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and platform best practices
  • Present platform capabilities to clients in a relatable, non-technical way
  • Review configurations and solution design to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Support pre-sales and scoping discussions when needed, especially for Experience Cloud deals

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce consulting experience
  • Proven track record delivering Salesforce Experience Cloud, that includes knowledge of Sales & Service implementations
  • Comfortable configuring Salesforce using out-of-the-box tools: flows, page layouts, record types, permission sets, etc.
  • Strong facilitator with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with business stakeholders at various levels
  • Salesforce certifications preferred: Experience Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Administrator, Data Cloud
  • Knowledgeable in  high-tech or subscription-based industries or demonstrated experience delivering solutions across multiple industries.

Essential Skills & Mindset

  • Curiosity about clients’ businesses and what drives them
  • Empathy and professionalism in every interaction
  • A mindset of continuous improvement and team collaboration
  • Confidence without ego – you know your stuff but are always open to learning
A belief in doing what’s right for the client, even if it’s not what’s easiest
A People-First Culture & Total Rewards Philosophy

Neocol is committed to building an inclusive, people-first culture supported by employee-led ERGs, mentorship opportunities, and a total rewards philosophy that goes beyond salary. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, flexibility, and continuous learning to help our people thrive, at work and beyond.

Our offerings include:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Flexible time off that supports real work-life balance
  • A monthly home office stipend
  • Employer-matched 401(k)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Adoption assistance
  • Ongoing internal training and development opportunities

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
