Overview

Perspective Consultancy Limited (PCL) is seeking a talented, strategic, and detail-oriented Copywriter to join our growing team. This role is suited for a creative professional who can craft compelling, high-impact content across digital, print, and institutional platforms while aligning messaging with organisational goals.

The ideal candidate understands how strategic storytelling supports reputation management, influences stakeholders, and supports executive-level communications, public relations, and brand positioning.

Reports to:  the Creative Director

The role requires close collaboration with the Director of Strategy, the PR Lead, and external consultants, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop persuasive and engaging copy/content for websites, articles, thought leadership pieces, case studies, proposals, social media, and marketing campaigns.

  • Draft press releases, executive messaging, opinion articles, speeches, and strategic communication materials.

  • Translate complex policy, governance, technical, or institutional concepts into clear and accessible narratives.

  • Support public relations, stakeholder engagement, and reputation-management initiatives through strategic messaging.

  • Ensure all content aligns with PCL’s brand voice, editorial standards, and communication objectives.

  • Collaborate with strategy, marketing, and design teams to produce integrated communication outputs.

  • Optimise content for digital performance, including SEO, readability, and engagement metrics.

  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and sensitivity when handling high-stakes or time-sensitive communications.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional copywriting or content development experience.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats, audiences, and industries.

  • Proven research, editing, and storytelling ability.

  • Understanding of strategic communications, public relations, branding, and reputation management.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience within corporate, consultancy, government, or institutional environments is an added advantage.
