Our associates support the brands with a wide range of services, including Finance, Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, Digital and E-commerce, Technology and more.
Provides critical support in the brands margin management efforts. They are responsible for maintaining accurate Manufacturer List Price (MLP) on resale products, which is essential to delivering margin expectations for all non-perishable warehouse items. Requiring them to coordinate across brands to ensure timely and accurate entry across the network.
Responsible for entering National O/Is for warehouse items into the facilities; a key component of ensuring correct average cost in the warehouse and correct vendor billings.
Lead PO Mismatch/ reconciliation efforts for warehouse items, partnering with the Brands, Vendors and Supply Chain to review, resolve and ensure the timely payments to our vendors.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Hyattsville, MD.
Essential job functions:

  • Lead PO Mismatch - Leverage multiple systems (Prompt, Aces...) coordinate with Brands, Vendors and Supply Chain to determine correct payment of vendor invoices for SDP warehouses
  • Responsible for analyzing, researching, reconciling, validating, and entering all cost changes into multiple software systems for SDP Warehouses. Ensure accuracy of the MLP Change accuracy (e.g., correct pack size, unit pricing structure, etc.) prior to entry. Coordinate across brands when item is carried in multiple facilities.
  • Manage missing information needs through collaborating across brands and communicating with Category Teams, Supply Chain associates ensuring timely and accurate resolution of the issues.
  • Support self-distribution transition & future changes and processes associated with company owned facilities. Analyze and research daily procurement list cost mismatch discrepancies. Coordinate directly with Order to Cash Department for connecting vendor issues.
  • Complete and thorough understanding of accounting rules as set forth by Audit Recovery & Order to Cash Departments.
  • Proactive communication with Category Teams, Supply Chain associates, PDL & ILC teams to ensure timely and accurate item and cost information.
  • Audit Warehouse off-invoice, conduct daily peer audits to ensure accurate billing. Coordinate with VAAC for manual billings.
  • Complete maintenance of EDI Flag changes
  • Execute changes to business process in alignment with strategic projects PI, SDP, End to End System changes
  • Understanding of CPG vendor negotiated deal types, contract terms and funding strategies
  • Assist in quarterly audit activities across departments and teams - Demonstrates expert knowledge of eCommerce and brick and mortar transactional data warehouses (EDW) and the impact on cost and deals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Analytics or IT Systems or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Access and Teams
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective communication & written skills
  • Ability to build strong peer to peer business partnerships and 3rd party vendor partnerships
  • Capable of communicating to leadership, influencing without authority, build consensus and execute the plan
  • Ability to understand technical documents of complex data systems
  • Ability to work and make decisions without explicit guidance, self-motivated to find and deliver timely and correct solutions
  • Ability to translate business needs into actions, creating effective partnerships to drive actions
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in grocery retail and/or working with CPG vendors
  • Experience applied data analytics
  • Ability to organize maintain audit records
  • Be creative in ways to improve partnerships and ways of working
  • Create communications to correct target audiences, inclusive of the right level of details and context (Vendors, Leadership, Peers, Brands)
  • Steward of best and common practices, be an active member of the team and project teams as a representative to brand and business needs
  • Igor, S&S Mainframe, AIS Mainframe, Deal Management, Aces, IDW/CDW, Prompt experience a plus
  • Accounting experience
