GEPICS manages the in-process vehicle build data at the assembly plant and communicates this data to the plant floor systems and VAA/Tier 1 sub-assembly/sequencing locations. GEPICS also captures trace data and test results.

GEPICS manages the in-process vehicle build data at the assembly plant and communicates this data to the plant floor systems and VAA/Tier 1 sub-assembly/sequencing locations. GEPICS also captures trace data and test results.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage/review broadcast status and issues.
- Research/provide information to internal customers regarding scheduling and order details.
- Manage/review vehicle holds, status counters and block builds.
- Manage order flow into the plant and daily order line-up into Body Shop.
- Review No-Hit/Multi Hit report to ensure part & data file broadcasts are accurate.
- Coordinate vehicle set ins/set outs and oversee scrap/restart vehicles.
- Manage Manufacturing Validation Build (MVB) and provide vehicle BOMS.
- Manage vehicle restrictions through assembly process.
- Communicate special build needs and routine GEPICS checks.
- Support plant floor and quality with trace data & EOL (end of line) testing.
- Support Repair Activities.
- Collaborate with Production, Suppliers, VAA, LLP & Offsite Storage Locations on material & broadcast issues.
- Support ECR Changes, Part Trial Run (PTR) changes & Change Implementation Coordinator (CIC) activities
Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Flexibility to support 2nd shift as needed. (Examples - model change/program launches, coverage for 2nd Shift GEPICS Coordinator vacations or troubleshooting issues.)
- Minimum 3 years working within Supply Chain/Manufacturing Environment
- Knowledge of material department operation, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships
- Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex
- Oral and written communication skills
- Medium level of Interpersonal skills to work effectively with other
- Knowledge of material department operation, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships
- Planning and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficient knowledge/background in IT
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge:
- Knowledge of MGO-A & GEPICS is preferred
- College degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (Preferred)
