DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
FSG Golf is a newly formed division within Fenway Sports Group (FSG). Its primary focus is the oversight of FSG’s investment in the PGA TOUR through the Strategic Sports Group (SSG), a consortium of leading investors. The FSG Golf team plays a pivotal role in driving this investment forward, managing relationships with consortium partners, and collaborating closely with PGA TOUR leadership and board members to support the sport’s long-term growth and success.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
FSG Golf is seeking a highly organized and motivated Coordinator to provide day-to-day administrative support to the department head, as well as work with the department director to coordinate meetings and assist with projects and communications to the SSG. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced work environment. This role will involve managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing expense reports, scheduling travel, and assisting with various ad-hoc projects.
The base salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 based on relevant experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for annual incentive pay along with our comprehensive benefits package.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Substantial administrative support, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel coordination support and monthly expense report submission and management.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.
- Coordinate logistics of all internally & externally attended events, meetings and gatherings.
- Manage ad-hoc research projects and administrative tasks as directed.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the PGA TOUR and SSG.
- Hold a high level of maturity and confidence dealing with Senior Leadership at FSG properties, as well as external third parties.
- Build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a coordinator or support/administrative role, with a preference for an entertainment, and/or sports agency setting.
- Dynamic personality with desire to promote and cultivate a strong team culture & environment.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a group setting.
- ·Detail-oriented approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Impeccable time management and organizational aptitude.
- Exemplary interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience and comfortability interacting with senior stakeholders both internally & externally.
- Desire to integrate with a broad cross-section of functional internal teams.
- Proficiency in full Microsoft 365 (including Office, Word, Excel, PPT, OneDrive and Teams).
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as requested, sometimes with short notice.
- Ability to be in office five days a week.
