About the role:

We are seeking a Contract Manager to own Ambient’s commercial contracting from intake to signature. You’ll lead complex negotiations, drive faster cycle times, manage risk and shape the legal framework that supports our company’s growth.

What you’ll do:

• Lead commercial contracting with enterprise customers, including MSAs, DPAs, Order Forms, NDAs, and channel agreements

• Align sales, finance, product and other departments on key legal terms and decisions

• Review and negotiate vendor contracts for policy alignment, risk tolerance, and commercial objectives

• Maintain and enforce playbooks, fallback positions, and templates to improve speed and consistency

• Improve contracting processes and tooling to scale efficiently

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a senior paralegal or contract manager who delivers attorney caliber work product and judgment

• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, with precision and brevity

• Strategic negotiator who brings creative pragmatism to balance risk with outcomes

• Fast learner that can operate independently in dynamic environments and apply business judgement on complex issues

• Builder at heart, with passion for improving processes and scalability

• Excited to be first legal hire, with ample room for growth

Salary and Equity:

At Ambient.ai, we take a market-based approach to compensation. Final offers are based on job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity.

Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package, including stock options and the opportunity to share in the company’s growth.

The starting base salary range for this role is:

• Boston Area: $95,000 - $125,000
