Focus: Dayforce HCM Implementation & Optimization

We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Implementation Expert / Project Manager to support a critical HRIS modernization initiative. This individual will serve as a hands-on Dayforce subject matter expert, partnering closely with HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate configuration, clean data, payroll readiness, and successful adoption across the organization.
This role is highly execution-focused and will play a key part in validating system design, testing workflows, supporting integrations, and driving a smooth Dayforce rollout.
Key ResponsibilitiesDayforce Configuration & Implementation SupportServe as the Dayforce subject matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations to ensure optimal system design, configuration, and adoption.
Review and validate HR and security configurations, including roles, permissions, and workflows, to ensure appropriate access and data visibility.
Execute and support end-to-end testing across roles, workflows, and user scenarios to confirm configurations meet business needs.
Review and validate time and attendance configurations and entitlements to ensure accurate setup and functionality.
Conduct comprehensive payroll configuration reviews and support parallel payroll testing to confirm accuracy.
Assist with custom reporting by identifying required reports and building interim solutions where integrations are not yet live.
Support and review integrations with external vendors, including WEX and Employee Navigator (Nationwide as a lower priority).
Collaborate on GL integrations between Dayforce and ERP systems.
Support implementation of single sign-on (Active Directory) with Dayforce and related HRIS platforms.
Assist with the review and planning of additional Dayforce modules, such as Benefits, Recruiting, and LMS.
Perform data audits and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Train HR users and managers on Dayforce functionality and technical capabilities.
Assist in developing training materials, onboarding guides, and rollout plans for employee training.
Provide hands-on support during employee registration and post-launch adoption.
Create and maintain clear documentation, including:
Process and workflow documentation
Responsibility matrices (RACI)
Communication workflows
Metrics and reporting dashboards
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Implementation Consultant, or similar role.
Proven success leading end-to-end Dayforce implementations, including planning, configuration, testing, integrations, and go-live support.
Strong experience partnering with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations in complex environments.
Hands-on experience with GL and ERP integrations from Dayforce.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation capabilities.
High level of independence, organization, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and secure file transfer tools such as FileZilla.
