We are building a modern legal operation powered by AI and technology-first workflows. We are hiring a Commercial Contracts Attorney to support high-volume contracting across a growing commercial client base. This role is designed for an attorney who is comfortable operating at the intersection of law, technology, and product.
You will own day-to-day contract execution while actively partnering with product and engineering teams to improve tooling, workflows, and legal delivery at scale. This is a hands-on startup role where speed, adaptability, and ownership matter. You will not just review contracts - you will help shape how legal work is done.
This role offers direct exposure to senior legal leadership, meaningful influence over product development, and the opportunity to help define AI-enabled legal operations from the ground up.
Commercial Contract Execution
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
- Vendor and supplier agreements
- SaaS, DPAs and technology agreements
- Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work
- NDAs
- Real estate and construction-related agreements
- Use proprietary legal technology to manage high contract volume with speed and consistency
- Identify legal risk and deliver practical, business-aligned recommendations
- Maintain quality and turnaround performance in a fast-moving environment
AI Enablement and Legal Operations
- Actively use AI tools in daily contract review and workflow execution
- Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can improve speed, accuracy, and scale
- Develop strong prompting practices and continuously test and iterate on AI workflows
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve platform performance
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active US bar license in good standing
- Arizona bar admission strongly preferred
- 3 to 10 years of commercial contracting experience
- Experience working with AI tools and legal technology platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Compensation Range:
The posted salary range is based on our research for companies of our stage and size while in compliance with California law. This is a base salary compensation range and we encourage those who are interested to apply and have an initial discussion.
