Contract Advertising Sales. Get Paid for What You Sell.

Remote · Contract · Sales

At Delta Defense, we expect a lot from our people. That’s not a warning — it’s a value. We run toward hard things. We follow through. And we believe performance should matter.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a proven advertising sales professional with experience in the firearms industry who knows how to pick up the phone, build relationships, follow up relentlessly, and close business.

This is not a salaried sales role.

You write your own paycheck.

You get paid when you sell.

The Opportunity

You’ll step into this role with a solid book of existing business already in place.

That’s all yours — but we want you to want more.

We have aggressive growth goals, and you can get to work from day one with clients you’ll support, retain, nurture, and grow.

You’ll also have access to a large list of prospective clients that have not yet been contacted, along with support from the broader publishing and sales team.

The goal is simple:

Get signed insertion orders and grow advertising revenue.

How You Get Paid

This is a 100% commission-based contract position.

You’ll earn 15% of the advertising revenue actually paid by the client.

You have flexibility to negotiate advertising rates when appropriate, but your commission is based on the final amount the customer pays.

Sell more. Earn more.

No cap. No guaranteed base. No participation trophy.

What You’ll Do
  • Call existing advertisers and maintain strong relationships.
  • Follow up consistently until there is a clear yes or no.
  • Sell advertising and secure signed insertion orders.
  • Look for opportunities to increase spend within existing accounts.
  • Prospect into a large pool of potential advertisers that have not yet been contacted.
  • Negotiate advertising rates when needed to close business.
  • Stay organized and keep opportunities moving.
  • Partner with the publishing team for support, strategy, and account information.
  • Own your pipeline and your results.
Who Will Be Successful Here

You already know how sales works.

You understand that some people will say no. Some won’t call you back. Some deals will take longer than they should.

And you keep going anyway.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven advertising sales experience within the firearms/gun industry.
  • Is comfortable with commission-only compensation.
  • Is motivated by earning potential and personal performance.
  • Can build rapport quickly and sell over the phone.
  • Follows up without needing to be reminded.
  • Knows how to handle rejection without losing momentum.
  • Can negotiate without giving away the business.
  • Is self-directed and comfortable working independently.
  • Wants to make money and understands that results drive compensation.
The Freedom

Work from anywhere.

Work the hours that make sense for you.

We are not paying you to sit at a desk from 8 to 5. We are paying you for performance.

If you want structure, guaranteed income, and someone managing your daily schedule, this probably isn’t the right opportunity.

If you know the firearms industry, know how to sell advertising, and want the freedom to control your schedule and your earning potential, we should talk.

Non-negotiable requirement: Proven advertising sales experience within the firearms industry is required.
