At 829, the Account Manager coordinates all disciplines involved in constructing beautiful, high performing websites; as well as maintaining existing websites. This includes seamless coordination of strategists, copywriters, designers, developers, producers and clients involved in the process. You will be the client relationship lead, working directly with your clients each week and advocating on their behalf as the client representative with the internal team. You will be expected to proactively solve for and mitigate any potential project risks; as well as keeping client engagements in scope and on budget. A solutions oriented person with account and project management skills is a plus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important. Agency experience is required for this position.
If you’re a confident communicator who can manage a variety of different project types, has an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solution-oriented mindset, this is the job for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Fully understand clients’ business model and clients’ industry, striving to help solve clients’ business problems, identify new opportunities, and create more measurable impact.
  • Cultivate relationships with client points of contact and develop ongoing strategic recommendations that solve clients’ business objectives. As needed, resolve issues to ensure account satisfaction. You’re able to effectively convey vision/goals to internal and external stakeholders alike.
  • Proven ability to lead and navigate conversations with key stakeholders; distill complex information into clear, actionable next steps; and effectively communicate with teams and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with your Project Manger or independently as a hybrid Account & Project Manager to yield high-quality work output in alignment with project objectives and client business goals.
  • Influence others to achieve outcomes by tailoring communication tactics and information sharing for different audiences through articulate and thoughtful written and verbal communication, and the ability to effectively manage up, down, and across.
  • Organize and prioritize task lists for both clients and internal groups.  Work directly with internal team members and clients to manage project schedules, assets, content and expectations in an organized and thorough manner.
  • Coordinate client meetings/calls and create agendas in advance.  Take notes during those meetings, and provide clear, succinct follow-ups and next steps to keep the project running smoothly throughout its duration.
  • Help keep client deliverables on time, on scope, and on budget.  Proactively solve for and mitigate potential risks if the timeline begins to slip and find opportunities to optimize where possible.
What You'll Bring:
  • 4+ years of Client Services/Account Management experience. We will consider candidates with in-house experience, but an agency background is preferred.
  • Experience in successfully managing clients through enterprise projects, including website support post-launch.
  • Experience in project financial management and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tactical solutions to meet or exceed client business objectives

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • An understanding of integrated digital marketing and its various components.
  • Experience using project management software and spreadsheets.
