We’re seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a dynamic team focused on helping customers optimize operational efficiency through data-driven insights, configurations, and system optimizations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customers take full advantage of the latest features of our automation technology, driving tangible improvements in their operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Strategy- Lead and manage a small team of professionals experienced in industrial engineering, operational excellence, and data analytics.
- Define and execute initiatives to optimize customer operations and the customer experience.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Work closely with customers and account teams to assess and enhance warehouse efficiency and system performance.
- Conduct operational health checks, ensuring customers maximize benefits from Ocado’s technology.
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to generate actionable insights from operational data.
- Support data analytics-driven decision-making, ensuring customers continuously improve performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to enhance automation solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field; or relevant professional experience
- 3+ years of experience working within the Material Handling industry
- 3+ years of experience in process optimization or a similar field.
- Proven experience managing a team, preferably with mixed disciplines such as industrial engineering and data analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
