Vestmark is searching for a talented, creative individual with a passion for driving continual improvement in sales execution to join our Sales Team as a Senior Proposal writer/Business Analyst. The initial focus for this role will be to partner with our Sales Executives and own the start to finish the process of creating world-class RFP/RFI responses and professionally polished sales proposals. In this role, you will drive the development of these documents by working with subject matter experts across the organization to create visually compelling documents that differentiate Vestmark and our solutions. Over time, as you master sales proposals, you will have the opportunity to take on additional Sales Operations responsibilities aimed at delivering an excellent experience to our prospects and customers.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations and will be an important contributor to the teams goal of supporting our hunting and farming sales executives achieve their sales goals.
- Work across the entire organization to develop RFP and proposal responses that highlight Vestmark’s strategic advantages of scalability, flexibility and innovation in the Wealth Management market space
- Analyze RFP requirements to assist the sales team to develop a response strategy and ensure that sales contributors follow outlined processes
- Prepare proposals by determining concept; gathering and formatting information, inputting proper corporate branding elements, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals
- Ensure RFPs/proposal content follow Vestmark’s messaging and branding standards
- Manage project deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering which include; writing, reviewing, approvals, entering and monitoring data, coordinating requirements with contributors, providing status updates in review meetings and transmitting proposals
- Leverage and enhance our Qvidian best in class proposal automation system to ensure the highest quality output is achieved for each proposal
- Analyze our selling process and identify areas where improvement would favorably impact customer experience;
- Drive sales efficiency gains by using Salesforce and other technologies to automate manual processes;
- Help design sales territories and measure efficacy
- Assist with organizing customer-facing product demonstrations
- 5+ years of experience writing proposals
- 3+ years of experience in either a sales operations or data analytics role supporting sales;
- Exceptional written communication and editing skills
- Solid project management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce,and QVidian
- Understanding of the Wealth Management Industry to effectively position our solutions
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Positive attitude and energy
- Highly collaborative team player
- BS/BA degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications
