We’re looking for a Senior Video Manager to join our creative & content team to lead our video efforts. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly creative and a self starter with a strong work ethic. This candidate will oversee our growing video team, lead conceptual thinking and shoots, and create and edit video content themselves.

WHOOP’s video output includes everything from social content, graphic animations, ads, brand spots, longform stories, and YouTube content.

Responsibilities:

• Manage & oversee our growing video team, providing both inspiration and process
• Concept ideas and executions for upcoming/ongoing shoots and projects
• Capture and edit first-rate video for upcoming/ongoing content needs across both paid and organic channels. The project mix could also include branded assets, product/training videos, social, and more.
• Critically assess deadlines, finding creative ways to deliver best-in-class work while meeting business objectives 
• Deliver everything from rough cuts to refined edits, including sound mixing, color correction, music selection/VO mixing (as needed), and title animations or graphic additions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing & Product teams
• Edit existing footage and seamlessly blend multiple shoots, with an eye toward bringing life to our existing video library
• Uphold the WHOOP Brand while also innovating on new looks and processes
• Develop an organizational system for video files on the server, optimizing for easy file location and the ability to easily access footage for repurposing
• Create a video style guide that ladders back to the overarching WHOOP Brand
• Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously across multiple team members

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio required. Relevant industry examples are desired 
• 5-7 years of experience
• Advanced skills with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plus
• Knowledge of pre-production process (lighting, sound, cameras)
• Knowledge of post-production process (footage review, rough cuts, editing)
• Strong communication skills and resource management skills
