THE ROLE: We’re looking for…

A Personal Stylist who will provide a high touch and personalized styling experience to our female Members by helping them to look and feel their best! Our Personal Stylist Program was launched in 2017 and has been growing steadily ever since. We are now ready to take this to the next level and are excited to build up and expand upon our existing team!

Rue La La’s Personal Stylists are seasoned and highly-trained industry professionals, who elevate the shopping experience for our members by connecting them with great style, cutting edge trends, and amazing brands.

THE TASKS: What You'll Accomplish...

• Suggest and style looks for Rue La La Members by creating a personalized experience that matches their client profile and purchase history.
• Communicate, develop, and foster relationships with our Members.
• Grow and maintain your own book of business across apparel, accessories, footwear, and European luxury fashion to drive sales.
• Understand the various body types and make recommendations that would flatter, fit, and complement our members’ needs and lifestyles.
• Provide a white-glove, high-touch experience and exceptional service that aligns with Rue’s commitment to its Members.
• Be the voice of our Members by relaying any feedback and helping us continue to quickly and efficiently address their needs.

THE RIGHT FIT: You are…

• Sharp, savvy, a quick learner, and are passionate about fashion and personal styling.
• Deeply knowledgeable of current and upcoming trends, top brands, and body type styling.
• Proficient in various online tools, including but not restricted to MS Office Suite and Google products, and possess intermediate technical skills.
• Committed to being typo-free and believe in honing and perfecting your written and communication skills.
• Someone who has 1-2 years of fashion and retail experience -- a bonus if you have previous experience with online personal styling!
• Driven to take initiative - you seek feedback and constantly try to improve.
• A multi-tasker with efficiency.
• Able to work remotely with consistent internet/WiFi connection
• Accessible to consistent, highly reliable, and speedy internet connection.
• Very knowledgeable and experienced with social media sites, primarily Instagram and Pinterest.
• A resident of New York or Massachusetts states.
