  • Update and optimize existing content based on performance data and evolving search trends
  • Apply SEO insights (e.g., search intent, keyword targeting, content structure) to improve content effectiveness
  • Incorporate feedback and continuously improve content quality and performance
  • Track and learn from content performance, identifying patterns in what drives traffic and engagement
  • Adapt to evolving SEO strategies and AI-driven search changes

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–3+ years of content writing experience, preferably in an SEO or digital marketing context
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization)
  • Ability to use research and data to inform how content is developed—not just what is written
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, structure, and quality
  • Analytical curiosity—interest in understanding what drives content performance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams

What Sets You Apart
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, or Ahrefs
  • Exposure to performance tracking and content optimization workflows
  • Ability to connect content decisions to business or traffic outcomes
  • Interest in growing into a more strategic, analytics-driven role over time

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently produce high-quality, SEO-informed content
  • Demonstrate clear improvement in applying SEO principles to writing over time
  • Contribute ideas to improve content performance and optimization
  • Grow into increased ownership of content strategy and decision-making

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
