About the Role

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and digitally driven content marketing professional. This is more than a marketing role, it's an opportunity to help shape the voice, digital presence, and growth strategy of our organisation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love combining creativity with analytics, and want to make a visible impact across digital platforms, social media, branding, recruiting, and customer engagement, this role offers the perfect mix of strategy and hands-on execution.

You'll work directly with leadership, collaborate across departments, leverage AI marketing technologies, and play a key role in elevating the brand nationwide. As a key member of the marketing team, you'll report to our Creative Director to execute high-impact digital and content initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Production & Ownership

  • Serve as the primary content producer for the brand, owning written, video, and creative content from concept through delivery, including scripting, production, editing, and publishing

  • Support production of written content across digital articles, email campaigns, social copy, and print collateral, always clear, on-brand, and strategically relevant

Content Strategy & Audience Alignment

  • Develop and execute content strategies that speak to target personas, industries, and communities, while staying tightly aligned to Brand Marketing priorities

  • Create compelling content tailored for senior b2b buyers, and manage paid content with third party influencers

Social & Channel Growth

  • Develop and lead our owned podcast as well as third party placements

  • Manage and grow the company's social media presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and whatever comes next, adapting format, tone, and cadence to each platform

Collaboration, Analytics & AI

  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to integrate content across events, paid, organic, and owned channels

  • Bring a test-and-learn mindset, regularly analysing content performance, extracting insights, and letting the data evolve your approach

  • Use AI-powered marketing tools and emerging technologies to streamline content creation, reporting, and campaign performance

Who You Are

  • Creative, strategic, and digitally driven, with a genuine love for combining creativity and analytics

  • Energised by a fast-paced environment and motivated by making a visible, brand-wide impact

  • Independent and self-directed: you manage your own production schedule, deadlines, and content calendar

  • A confident communicator who presents concepts, explains creative decisions, and takes feedback constructively

  • Data-informed: you let performance insights guide what you make next

Requirements

Must Haves

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in content creation, social media, or a related marketing role, with a portfolio that shows multi-channel work

  • Solid writing across formats: social captions, email copy, digital articles, and print, with a consistent, compelling brand voice

  • Channel fluency: you know what performs on LinkedIn vs YouTube vs TikTok, email vs blogs, and video vs reports, and adapt format, tone, and cadence accordingly

  • Creative tools fluency with Claude and Figma, or equivalent, able to concept and execute without leaning on external resources for every asset

  • Data-comfortable: you read platform analytics, A/B test thumbnails, copy, and CTAs, and translate engagement and reach metrics into better content decisions

Nice to Haves

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for content ideation, production efficiency, or personalisation workflows

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
