About the role
We’re hiring a Content Marketing Manager who’s equal parts strategic storyteller and visual designer.
You’ll own Uplinq’s voice and visual identity across web, email, social, and paid campaigns — crafting content that not only reads well but looks stunning. You’ll write, design, and collaborate with Growth and Ops to ensure every asset drives measurable results.
This is a builder role — ideal for someone who loves to design, write, publish, and analyze their own work in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and own the content roadmap tied to product launches, SEO, and campaign goals.
- Define and evolve our brand narrative pillars: automation, AI bookkeeping, tax intelligence, and SMB empowerment.
- Partner with the CMO on creative strategy, campaign concepts, and tone of voice.
Creation & Design
- Write and design marketing content
- Create visual assets in Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Repurpose long-form pieces into short-form visuals and social posts optimized for engagement.
- Maintain visual and brand consistency across all formats
Distribution & Optimization
- Collaborate with Growth to launch and test content across paid, SEO, and organic channels.
- Partner with Marketing Ops to track engagement, attribution, and conversion metrics.
- Continuously refine copy and creative based on data and performance insights.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in content marketing, brand design, or visual communications.
- Proficient in Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; Premiere/After Effects a plus).
- Strong sense of layout, typography, and visual rhythm.
- Able to conceptualize, write, design, and ship independently.
- Curious, analytical, and proactive.
Bonus Points
- Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, or SEO tools
- Background in SaaS, fintech, or tech startups.
- Comfortable managing freelance writers, designers, or video editors.
- SEO knowledge and ability to design for readability and conversion.
